Mr. Fondren died Wednesday in a Monroe hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include one son, Charles Fondren; one stepson, Eugene Harron; two daughters, Miss Freida Fondren and Miss Wanda Fondren, all of Tallulah; four brothers, Robert Fondren of Bessemer, Ala., Teck Fondren, Albert Fondren, both of Tallulah, and Bill Fondren of Birmingham, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Earline Cummins of Tallulah.
