Charles Wade Bond, 73, of 53 Holden Street died last evening shortly before midnight at the North Adams Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Bond was born in Winsted, Connecticut and had made his home in this city practically all of his life and was widely acquainted.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, William and Edward Bond, both of West Springfield; and one daughter, Miss Mary Bond of Waterliet, NY. The body was taken to the home on Holden Street this afternoon and funeral services will be held there on Monday afternoon at 2:30 with Commandant James W. Beach of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in the family lot of Southview Cemetery.

The funeral of Charles Wade Bond who died on Friday night at the North Adams Hospital was held this afternoon 2:30 o'clock at his late home 53 Holden Street, with Commandant James W. Broch of the local end of the Salvation Army officiating. There were many floral tributes.
Burial was in the family plot at Southview Cemetery with Commandant Beach officiating. Interment friends of Mrs. Bond were bearers.
