The Holden Progress- Nov 9, 1911 Died at his home in Lee's Summit, Oct 27, 1911, William Paul, aged 86 years. In the death of Uncle Billy Paul, as he was universally known, passes one of the very last old landmarks of Western-Johnson Co. Born in Tennessee, Mr. Paul came to Missouri in Childhood and lived a couple of miles west of town until a few years ago when he moved to Lee's Summit.
