Archie Duncan Paul was born near Kingsville, February 13, 1853. In the community he spent his life. On December 28, 1879 he married Margaret J. Eldridge, who died three years ago. Six children came to gladden their home, Edgar and Avery of Kingsville, Elmer of Bryson, MO, Roy who died in childhood, Mrs. Elizabeth Ridings who died six years ago, and William P. of the home. Deceased was the fifth of eleven children of whom seven brothers are still living: Taylor, John L., William, Robert, Goodlet, Thomas and Finis; all had visited him in his last illness. He was a man of fine traits, with a kind and gentle disposition, a loving husband, a devoted father, an excellent friend and neighbor. His good deeds will live after him, a blessed memory for the dear ones left behind.
