Funeral services for Katie Rolen Warner, 82, of Winnsboro, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 18, in the Boeuf River Baptist Church, with the Rev. C.T. Smith officiating.

Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

A native of Winnfield, she was born July 16, 1904. She was a housewife. She died on April 16, 1987, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, George W. Warner, Winnsboro; one son, Lloyd Warner, Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. J.C. Bratton, West Monroe and Bell Buchan, Jonesboro; one brother, George Rolen, Morrow, La.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charlie Ray Jennings, Ray Jennings, Glynn Porter, Dolphus Tarver, Harold Russell and Jerry Hawsey.
