Mrs. Mary Frances Barnes, aged 29 years, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Barnes, died of complications at their home on Hedgemont Avenue Monday, March 25, 1935. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and was ready when the summons came, calling her to a more exalted existence. Funeral service was conducted at the residence by Elder McQuiddy, burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, James Barnes.
