[The Lead Belt News, Flat River, St. Francois County, Missouri, Friday, April 28, 1950]Dolly Jane Roberts was born at Buffalo Valley, Tenn., on May 19, 1855, and passed away on April 23, 1950, in Farmington [St. Francois County], Mo., at the home of her nephew, H. D. Roberts, being 94 years 11 months 3 days of age. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Whitefield) Roberts.She united with the Rough Creek Baptist Church of Allen County, KY at an early age and was a faithful member. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Cozean Chapel by Rev. R. Ray Stone. Burial was in the K. of P. Cemetery.
