His obit in the Reporter Journal, Dec. 6, 1894, states that he died on Dec. 1st, killed by cars. Another obit in the Wyoming Dem. dated Dec. 7, 1894 states that he was 25 years old, killed by train at Coxten Yards. His funeral was at Laceyville.
Now called "Pittston Yard", the old Coxten Yard was located in the Borough of Duryea which is in the greater Pittston area.
