Mrs. William Rains Demonbreun, of Edgefield, was followed to the silent tomb by sorrowing friends yesterday. Mrs. Demonbreun died Sunday morning of congestive chills. She was well known and universally loved by hosts of people in Nashville and Edgefield. Her remains were conveyed to Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Demonbreun--At the residence of her husband, Wm. R. Demonbreun, in North Edgefield, Tenn., of congestion, on the morning of May 31 1874, Mrs. Eliza Demonbreun, in her 59th year.
She married William Rains Demonbreun Dec. 6 1833 in Davidson County, TN.
