Age 73, of Powell, passed away at Kobacker House. Martha was born in Zanesville and was a graduate of Bishop Rosecrans High School. She also attended St. Mary's of the Springs College. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Mildred Barry and her sister, Sister Augusta Barry, OP. Martha is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry; sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Mary and Brian and Tammie, all of Columbus. She is also survived by her granddogs Harper and Baliene. Other survivors include her brother William (Janet) Barry of Zanesville and sister Elsie Ann (Fred) Berkshire of Marion. Also surviving are brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Bill and Susie Braun of Wichita, Kansas; Jane and Dave Barclay of Zanesville; and Tom and Susan Mirgon of Ashton, Maryland; as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Martha had a great love of animals and was a longtime volunteer with the Columbus Zoo. She was also the founder of the Powell YMCA "Peeps."
