Friends From Here Attend Mrs. Bunton Funeral.
A number of La Porte City relatives and longtime friends of Mrs. Melvin Huseman-Bunton attended her funeral service in Waterloo Sunday afternoon with burial in Elmwood cemetery.
Mrs. Bunton died at the soldiers’ home in Marshalltown on Friday. Mrs. Huseman-Bunton spent all of her married life in La Porte City, leaving here for Waterloo to reside with her children only when unable to care for her own home. Mrs. Bunton is survived by three children from her first marriage--Mrs. Arthur Hummel, Joseph Huseman and Mrs. Dave Miller, all residing in Waterloo. Mr. Thomas Bunton, the second husband, died a number of years ago.
