Susan was born as S.K. Susannah J. Bright. She was the daughter of Nehemiah "Myra" Bright and Tobitha Maranda Reed Bright. Married Joseph Henderson Fox on 17 Jan. 1885 and they had 11 children. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Chapel Hill, West Of Chester. At age 44 in 1906 she was a widow and merchant running a general store in Choctaw County. She died at her son Zolie's (Alonzo Ealie) home in AL and her body returned to MS for burial.
