Robert Warren Smith, 69, husband of Mrs. Zelma Vining Smith and son of the late George and Mrs. Fannie Spencer Smith, a native of Georgia and a resident of Norfolk for 23 years, died yesterday at 1:15 a.m. at the residence, 156 Commodore Drive.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Zelma Vining Smith, he is survived by four sons, James Ralph, Robert Lynn, Richard Sherrill and Leonard Ragsdale Smith, of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; one brother, James Arthur Smith and a sister, Mrs. Ethyl Anderson, both of Georgia.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with the Rev. P. Rowland Wagner, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
