Cato, Thomas Edward, 70, of Morris passed away Thursday. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Cato; five daughters, Mrs. Mae Bell Smith of Morris, Mrs. Edna Patterson of Morris, Mrs. Lorene McCreless of Fultondale, Mrs. Doris Phillips of Sumiton, Mrs. Patricia Wheeler of Tarrant; six sons, Curtis E. Cato of Shelby, Edgar D. Cato of Robinwood, Robert L. Cato at Ensley, Edward H. Cato of Morris, Joe B. Cato of Tarrant, Johnny L. Cato of Birmingham; 31 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Etta Hayes of Hayden; four brothers, Arlie and Grady Cato, both of Hayden, Jim and Dewey Cato, both of Trafford; several neices and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 pm from Bethel Methodist Church near Trafford. (More info in obit, but unreadable)
