Bobby C. Lilley went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Vincent's Heart Center, Indianapolis. Born Oct. 24, 1933, in Durant, Okla., he was the son of Jerry Ollie and Iva Mable (Wilson) Lilley. He had been married to Jane E. (Howard) Lilley since 1974.

Bob served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1973. Upon retiring, he became a Miami County deputy sheriff and retired in 1994. Bob enjoyed his time as a Boy Scout leader and genealogy researcher.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter, Laura Gray, Owasso, Okla.; his sons, Steven Lilley, Madison, Ala., Dennis Lilley, Bangs, Texas, Scott Lilley, Hillsboro, Texas, Bobby Lilley Jr., Peru, and Anthony Lilley, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Lynwood Lilley, Durant, Okla.; grandchildren, Jeff Johnson, Stuttgart, Germany, Sarah Lilley, Independence, Ky., Jessica (Lilley) Sanchez, Stephensville, Texas, Steven Lilley, Okinawa, Japan, Meagan (Gray) Arledge, Owasso, Okla., Erick Lilley, Pasadena, Texas, Brayden Lilley, Peru, Adrian Lilley, Peru, Andrew Lilley, Peru, Camron Lilley, Los Angeles, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Ezra Cheyenne Sanchez, Stephensville, Texas, Brayden Dorning, Independence, Ky., Noah Dorning, Independence, Ky., Nolan Kelley, Stuttgart, Germany, Jonah Guzman, Stuttgart, Germany, Brady Johnson, Stuttgart, Germany, and Grayson Arledge, Owasso, Okla.

Bob was preceded in death by mother and father; sisters, Hazel (Brady) Lilley and Irene (Carson) Lilley; brothers, J.T. Lilley, William (Pee Wee) Lilley, Kenneth Lilley and Dale Lilley; and a grandson, Alexander Lilley.

A viewing will be from to 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church. Pastor Kenneth Greenwald will be officiating, with a graveside service following in Enterprise Cemetery, Miami County.
