Harvey O. "Brother Bud" Coffey, 83, Mooresville, died peacefully at home June 6, 2013. Mr. Coffey was born October 1, 1929, in Bloomington, to the late Herman and Pheina (Epperson) Coffey.

Mr. Coffey proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a crane operator for many years and was a member of the Local Union of Operating Engineers #103. Mr. Coffey was a member of Harvest House International Church and previously was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Tabernacle. He became a pastor in 1969 and led many people to the Lord through his years of ministry.

He was preceded in death by daughters, Nettie Bush and Infant Cathy Coffey; sisters, Debbie Payton and Cathy Coffey.

Survivors include his loving wife, Evelyn M. Coffey, to whom he was united in marriage November 18, 1972; sons, Edward Lee, Frank Bryan, Dennis Allan, Harvey O. Jr., Gary Dean, and Herman David Coffey; daughters, Betty Rose Elmore, Mary Marlene Neal, and Patty Henry; special brother-in-law, Willie Henry; brothers, Bill George Coffey, Bobby Coffey, and Woody Coffey; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2013. Brother Jimmy Parsons will officiate the service, and a military tribute will be held at the gravesite in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington.
