Evelyn M. Coffey, 69, Mooresville, died peacefully October 28, 2014, in her home. Evelyn was born May 26, 1945, in Bloomington, to the late Arvil and Rena (Dickson) Nicholson.

She was a member of Harvest House International, Mooresville. Evelyn was known for her sweet tooth and always enjoyed eating out with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting when her health was better. Evelyn will be missed by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey O. “Brother Bud” Coffey; siblings, Andrew, Paul, Richard, Louise, and Helen; step-son, Gary Dean Coffey.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Willie Henry of Mooresville; step-sons, Edward Lee, Frank Bryan, Dennis Allan, Harvey O., Jr., and Herman David Coffey; step-daughters, Betty Rose Elmore and Mary Marlene Neal; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pastor Jimmy Parsons will officiate the 10 a.m. funeral service on Friday, October 31, 2014, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Friends may call on Thursday, October 30, 2014, 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Bloomington.
