Anderson Leslie Braswell, 79, of Indianola, died on Jan. 8 at South Sunflower County Hospital. The Kilmichael native had been an Indianola resident for the past 25 years. He was the owner of the Walk-In Grocery on Highway 82. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Card Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cornell Daughtry officiating. Burial followed at City Cemetery with Card Funeral Home In charge of arrangements. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Claudine Courtney of Brandon; three sons, Dewey Braswell of Sunflower, Jimmy Braswell of Tchula and Leslie Braswell of Fontana, California; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Taylor of Jackson and Mrs. Vergie Garner of Boyle; 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were his grandsons.
