A. LeRoy Streed, 80, of 35 Arden Parkway, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 20, 2002) in Heritage Village Health Care Center. A lifelong area resident, he was born June 9, 1922, in Jamestown, the son of Edolf and Ellen Johnson Streed. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II from Nov. 29, 1945, to Nov. 7, 1946. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Gustafson Streed, whom he married April 18, 1955; two daughters: Shelly Culbertson of Warren and Ann McNallie of Louisburg, N.C.; four grandchhildren: Jeremy Sweeney of Sugar Grove, Ryan Sweeney of Jamestown, and Daniel and Christine Culbertson, both of Warren; a brother, Harold Streed of Venice, Fla.; and a sister, Dorothy Hansen of Jamestown. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
