Patricia Ann Aliff Shrewsbury , 80, of Scarbro, WV died on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.

Born February 05, 1931 at Cabin Creek, WV she was the daughter of the late Joseph Irlan and Myrtle Surber Aliff.

She was a homemaker.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Patricia's friends at Hilltop Nursing and Rehab Center, Bowers Hospice House and a special friend to the family, David Vandall.

Her husband, Early Thomas Shrewsbury, son Stuart Marlin Shrewsbury and brother, Jack Aaron Aliff preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Dwight Aaron Shrewsbury of Scarbro, her daughter, Vanessa Hope Barrett McGinnis of Scarbro, and one sister, Carolyn Aliff Bowles Varney of Kingsport, TN.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Christopher Lyn Barrett, Jennifer Dawn Barrett and Heather Ann Barrett all of Scarbro and special nieces and nephews, Carol Sue Burdette, Jean Lou Bowles, David Jay Bowles and Joseph "Punkie" Bowles.

Mrs. Shrewsbury was cremated. The family held a private memorial service.
