Eli Cochenour of Madison died in the Shawley Nursing Home, Youngstown. He was born May 17, 1899, in Sewickley Township, and was a retired coal miner. He was a son of the late Ely and Annie Jury Cochenour. He is survived by his widow, Irene Barnhart Cochenour; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Erret of Madison, Mrs. Charles (Helen) Boby of Wendel, and Mrs. John (Rosella) Podgorsek of Adamsburg; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, William Cochenour of Irwin and Joseph Cochenour of Irwin R.D. 1; and sister, Mrs. Harry Thomas of Glen Allen, VA.
