MRS. VICTORIA STEVENS

Mrs. Victoria Stevens, 79, widow of D.C. Stevens, of Stafford County, died yesterday at Mary Washington Hospital. Mrs. Stevens had lived most of her life in Stafford County and was the oldest member of the New Hope Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Frank Stevens, of Stafford Conuty; [sp] a foster son, French Allen, of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Jett and Mrs. Laura Stevens, both of Stafford County; a foster son, French Al-Newton, in Maryland, and Willie Newton, of Stafford County; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at New Hope Church tomorrow at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. J. Dallas Robertson.

Pallbearers will be Claude Bourne, Joseph Bourne, Thomas Deacon, James Edwards, Thomas Massey and Herbert Warner. Burial will be in the family cemetery near the church.
