Ronald Charles Gray, age 70 passed away peacefully next to his wife and best friend of 34 years in Everson, WA on May 16, 2013.

He was born October 24, 1942 in Bellingham, WA to Charles and Laura (Bull) Gray.

Ron served our county in the U.S. Army and was a great patriot. He worked and supported his family as a carpet installer for over 40 years and was very proud of his work.

Ron enjoyed Golfing, fishing, reading, traveling, music (Johnny Cash), taking afternoon naps and sports. He never missed a game and enjoyed supporting his four boys in any sports they chose (Go Black and Gold and Purple and White) and in later years was very supportive (#1 fan) of his grandchildren and loved to watch them all play the sports they loved.

Ron was friendly and kind to others and his greatest joy was being a husband, father and grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ralph Gray, close sister, Betty Parsons, father-in-law, Ernest Giustetti and mother-in-law, Anita (Loene) Giustetti Bailey.

He also has 6 bonus grandchildren and one great-grandson, Kody and many nieces and nephews. Of these many nieces and nephews Ron had a great love and fondness for his niece Wanda Burkett, her husband and their three daughters.

A burial service will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at Nooksack cemetery at 1:00 pm, following the burial service there will be a "celebration of life" at Guy and Andrea Bird's home in Nooksack, WA.

The Gray and Bird families would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Whatcom County and especially to Tarah, Cheryl and Sheila.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation, 2901 Squalicum Pkwy., Bellingham, WA 98225
