Clarice "Kelly" Lee, age 69, died at Stoughton Hospital on August 9, 1997, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 24, 1928, in Stoughton, the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Anderson) Venden. Clarice married Omar Lee on January 14, 1977, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Stoughton and the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW #328. Kelly will be remembered for her love of flowers, animals and bingo with her friends.
Kelly is survived by her husband; two daughters, Susan (Joel Beckwith) Reid of Evansville and Sheri (Larry Rinden) Doucette of Stoughton; her granddaughter, Casey Riffle of Stoughton; two brothers, Robert Venden of Stoughton and Howard (Carol) Venden of Davenport, Iowa; three sisteres, Doris Obrecht of Stoughton, Joan (Ole) Holman of Edgerton and Carol (Don) Moe of Stoughton. She is also survived by a very special niece, Vicki (Rod) Hanson of Verona; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by by her parents; and her sister, Betty Smithback.
