At an early morning death ended the life of Miss Margaret Arfsten, one of this city's beautiful and talented girls. She was only nineteen too young, to die. Hopelessly ill since November physicians advised the parents a small hope for recovery. Her parents were broken "hearted" when she passed to rest this morning: Forever those who loved her and who cannot realize that she passed. Possessing a happy nature, always looking on the bright side or life; giving encouragement of all whom she met during the years of her brief life here. She was a ray of sunshine in the home and loved by her friends. Talented she was in her - great ability from been recognized by teachers and others at the California School by Arts and Crafts where she had been a student for more than a year, giving up the work owing to the Illness which terminated foully. Heart affliction and complications which developed made recovery impossible. Specialists, the best in the states were consulted with the attending physicians, but found there was no hope.
The death is the second In the Arfsten family, a little brother having passed away some years ago. Miss Arfsten was the daughter of Martin T. and Elena Arfsten of Cinnabar district. She was born here and had spent much of her life at the Arfsten ranch where death came this morning.
Surviving with her parents are a brother, Clarence J. and a sister, Mildred Arfsten. She also leaves other, relatives residing here and friends who are extending sympathy to the family.
