She was born November 18, 1920 in Duplin County and was the daughter of the late Robert Benjamin Wallace and the late Lula Anderson Wallace Stroud. She was also predeceased by her husband, Oscar Brock.
Mrs. Brock was retired from the state of North Carolina as Deputy Clerk of Court.
Surviving are her loving children, Dorette Britt and husband, Richard, Wayne Brock and wife, Ernestine and Chester Brock; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and brothers, R.B. Wallace and Clifton Wallace.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel with the Reverend Tim Mateer officiating. Burial will follow in Brock Family Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Scott Brock, Allen Brock, Tim Williams, Troy Lee Williams, Jacob Harrell and Randy Harrell.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, one hour prior the funeral service at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home, Wallace,
