John was born November 18th, 1920 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Henry Bascom and Florence Harris LeMaster. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Ochal LeMaster, Virgil LeMaster, Roy LeMaster, and Raleigh LeMaster, and three sisters, Zaza LeMaster, Mayme Campbell, and Erma Lyons.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mabel LeMaster whom he married on August 4th, 1945.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3rd, 2013 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ben Wright, Craig Ratliff, Steve Trimble, David Wright, and Stan Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2nd, 2013. Visitation on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 will be at Paintsville Church of Christ from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3, 11 a.m. at the Paintsville Church of Christ, 11th St., Paintsville, for John Lowell LeMaster, 92, of Paintsville, who passed away Monday, April 29, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
Mr. LeMaster was born Nov. 18, 1920 in Johnson County, son of the late Henry Bascom and Florence Harris LeMaster. He was a welder/pipefitter, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ochal LeMaster, Virgil LeMaster, Roy LeMaster, and Raleigh LeMaster; and three sisters, Zaza LeMaster, Mayme Campbell, and Erma Lyons.
Surviving are his wife.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 6-9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Friday, May 3 until time of service.
The service will be officiated by Ben Wright, Craig Ratliff, Steve Trimble, David Wright and Stan Blevins, with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
Auxier DAV will conduct full military honors.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville.
