Born March 17, 1926, at Fairview, near New Germany, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucinda (Broadwater) Wilt.
She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are two sons, Warren McDowell and Roland McDowell, one daughter Pamela McDowell Genco (Jimmy), all of Baltimore; two brothers, Virgil Wilt of Rawlings, Marshall Wilt of Swanton, two sisters, Althea Wilt Jennings and Bertha Wilt Russell of Barton, one grandson, Jimmy Genco of Baltimore.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Saturday, September 26, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.
The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, September 28, 1998, 11am by the Rev. Dallas Bunch.
Internment will be in the Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
