Mrs. Mary Ann Biggs, 79 years old, died suddenly at her home in Lutesville Sunday morning. She was the widow of E.P. Biggs, Lutesville physician. She had suffered from diabetes for several years. She was born in Cerulean Springs, Ky. December 24, 1854 and was married there. With her husband they moved to Fairfield, Ill. and later to Lutesville, where she had resided the past 50 years.
She was a member of the Lutesville Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Dr. Biggs, died January 4, 1905 and two children also preceded her in death; one dying in infancy and the other, Mrs. Robert Drum, Jr. passed away eight years ago.
She is survived by two grandsons, Robert Drum and Paul Drum; one son-in-law, Robert Drum, Jr.; one brother, Richard Smith of Jonesboro, Ark.; and one sister, Mrs. Nannie Smith of Cerulean Springs, Ky.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lutesville Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Slaybaugh Cemetery.
