She was born April 15, 1924 in Quail, Ky., to Eugene and Juda (Brown) Thompson. She married Charles E. Patton Aug. 17, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1966. She then married Oscar Weaver in Dec. 1969 in Newark, Del., and he preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1986.
Mary attended school in Ottawa, Ky., and earned her GED from Frankfort High School. She worked for the Abilities Services Inc. in Frankfort, Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center in the Dietary Department, and El Camino Day Care in Frankfort, retiring in 2004. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and attended Kelley Crossing Church of God.
She is survived by two sons: Bernard (Mychelle) Patton of Broadhead, Ky. and Charles (Vonda) Patton of Frankfort; a daughter: Judy (Phil) Robison of Frankfort; two stepsons: Oscar Weaver and Kevin Weaver; a stepdaughter: Lou Wamsley of Pennsylvania; a sister: Marie Alcorn of Broadhead, Ky.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Connie; three brothers; six sisters, including her twin sister: Martha Sweet; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with the Rev. Daniel Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort.
