Elinor and Roland's graves have not been located, although family records and Dare family genealogist M. Doris Provart Gower (2005) say they died in Jefferson Co. IL and are buried here.
Mason Cemetery, Elk Prairie Township of Jefferson Co. is one of several cemeteries in the area which are in total disarray with many stones toppled and broken and buried.
Elinor Cryer Dare, Roland Dare, Ruth Cryer Martin Bradburn, Mary Genetta Bradburn Dare and several others whose graves cannot be located may all be here or in other cemeteries which were removed (unidentified) from the land now covered by Rend Lake.
Several children are buried in Wolf Prairie Cem.
Corrections are welcome.
