Thomas Graham Curtis was born September 17, 1895, at Courtland, Kan., and died January 9, 1934, at Parsons, Kan., age 38 years, 3 months and 22 days.
He grew to manhood in this vicinity, was converted and joined the church when a child and was a faithful christian throughout his life. He possessed an unusually cheerful and friendly disposition which won for him friends everywhere. He spent several years with his mother and sister in California and later lived in Topeka.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel, who departed this life at the age of nine, and his father, who passed away when Graham was nearly three years old. He leaves to mourn his loss his mother, Mrs. F.E. Curtis, and sister, Miss Lucy Curtis, of Topeka, Kan., and two brothers, Ernest Curtis of Pomona, Cal., and Wm. F. Curtis of Courtland.
Funeral services were held at the Lincoln M.E. church, January 11, and interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery -- Courtland Journal
