CALDWELL — Twila Margaret Wampler, 91, of 1319 S. 10th Ave., Caldwell, died Monday, May 27, 1991, in a local medical center.
Graveside services will he held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Stephen Brown, minister of the Treasure Valley Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Caldwell, will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Twila was born July 18, 1899, at Cleo Springs, Okla., a daughter of Clarance and Margaret Bobbitt. She was reared and educated in the Panhandle area of Oklahoma. She married Claude Wampler on Aug. 3, 1920, at Enid, Okla. In 1925, they moved to Caldwell, and in 1928, they returned to Nash, Okla., where they farmed. In 1936, they moved back to Caldwell, where they farmed and retired.
She attended the Treasure Valley Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Caldwell; was a member of the 10th St. Friendly Club; a charter and active member of the VFW and WWI Auxiliary.
Survivors include a brother, Arthur Bobbitt of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Fern Cullins of Los Cruces, New Mexico, and Maurine Reed of Caldwell; two sons, Marvin, of Fresno, Calif., and Lewis, of Caldwell; three daughters, Myrna Coon of Alsea, Ore., Glenda Samuelson of Corvallis, Ore., and Lora Albright of McCall; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
