DELORIS M HUMPHREY

Deloris Mae Riffle Humphrey, 84, of Kent, OH died Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Alter Care Nursing Home in Kent.

She was born August 13, 1924 at Star City, WV, a daughter of the late Joner C. Tennant and Essie M. Rose Tennant.

Mrs. Humphrey was a homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter, Marcella Parker of Mantua, OH; one son, Harold L. "Bud" Riffle, Sr. of Geneva, OH; two brothers, James N. Tennant of Mt. Morris, PA and Herbert Tennant of Mooresville, NC; one sister, Youlanda White of Coraopolis, NC; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold R. Riffle, her second husband, Lawrence Humphrey, and four brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Pastor Fred Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
