Gloria Jeanne Marley, 79, passed away Friday, January 7, 2005 in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2004 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Crestview with Rev. Charles Nichols of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Hampton Vaughan Crestview.
Gloria was born November 30, 1925 in Post, Texas to the late Jack and Glady (Cobb) Baker. She married Fred L. Marley on December 16, 1941. Gloria was active in the local PTA while raising her three sons. She was a volunteer worker for the American Red Cross.
Gloria was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Fred Leon Marley who died May 19, 2002.
Survivors include: three sons, Michael Wayne "Mike" Marley and his wife Rhonda of Harrison, Arkansas, David Leon Marley and his wife Barbara of Wichita Falls, and Monte Lee Marley of Maumelle, Arkansas; one sister, Peggy Hooper of Vancouver, Washington; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
