FUNERAL MRS. MOUW MONDAY
Came to U.S. As Girl With Her Parents

Mrs. H. A. Mouw (nee Hattie Wielenga) who had been ill with heart trouble and complications for some time died Friday , Feb. 20, at 7:30 at a local hospital, at the age of 60 years.

She was born in Pella and came with her parents when a little girl when they settled in this community.

In 1895 she was married to H. A. Mouw and they settled on a north of Orange City. Mr. Mouw preceded her in death in 1924.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at one o'clock at the home of her children, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mouw, at Orange City and at 1:30 at the First Reformed church. Rev. H. Colenbrander officiating.

Surviving are her children: Miss Gertrude Mouw; Alberta, Mrs. G. De Vries; Harry; Arta, Mrs H. Vander Waa; Peter; Albert; Hermina, Mrs. Dowma; and Leona; and six grandchildren.

She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. S. De Groot of Holland Home, Sheldon and Mrs. Henry Eggink of Alton and by two brothers, Lews and Reindert Wielenga, both of Orange City.
