Suggested edit: Record #107882060: I've suggested adding his middle name; correcting his date of birth and adding his place of birth; and adding links to the records of his parents and his first wife.
According to his WWII draft registration card, he was born on 16 Dec 1901 in Morgan County, KY. This contradicts the stone, which says he was born in 1900. It is not unusual for grave stones to have incorrect information about the date of birth. I suggest adding a comment about this error.
His parents were William Thomas Ward and Nancy Jane Sexton. He is with his parents in the US census records for 1910 and 1920.
According to the 1930 US census record, Arnold W. Ward and Vergie Combs married when he was 20 years old, i.e., in 1921.
According to his obituary, he died on 23 Jul 1976 at Branch County Community Health Center in Coldwater, Branch, MI. According to the Branch County, MI, Death Index, which agrees on the date of death, his middle name was William.
