Ralph Allen, wheelright and called Sr., s. of George Allen (d. 1648) of Sandwich. In his will dated Dec. 18, 1691: "after my decease my Body be decently buried in my Frinds Buring place at William Allins in Sandwich" [abstract, MD 32:166.]. William Allen was Ralph's childless half brother by their father's 2nd wife Katherine (---) (Allen) Collins. The inventory of his estate dated May 19, 1698 was certified by the executor July 1, 1698. (Barnstable Co. Wills, 2:75).

That text has been deleted in lieu of more later from the present maintainer, a descendant of Ralph through his son Increase. Some changes that resulted from the merger have been left temporarily unchanged but are not necessarily true (re: birth location).
N.B. There are no gravestone markers at the Spring Hill Quaker Burial Ground in Sandwich, which is actively maintained by members of the Sandwich Meeting of the Society of Friends.
