Savannah-Mr. Noah A. "Junior" Bright, 85, passed away on Easter Sunday at Marshview Senior Assisted Living.
Mr. Noah was born in Glenwood to the late Noah Albert Bright Sr. and Della Ryals Bright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Bright and a brother, Henry Bright. was currently a member of New Providence Baptist Church and formally a member of First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth. He retired from Union Camp and served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening and watching the Atlanta Braves.
Survivors include two sons, Paul A. Bright (Emma) of Warner Robins and Russell Bright (Karen) of Springfield; grandchildren, Perry Bright (Gina), Neal Bright (Jami), Allison Bright and Rachel Bright; great-grandchildren, Brianna Bright, Noelle Bright Chavez and Ella Katelynn Bright; brothers, Raymond Bright and Wade Bright (Dora); sister, Dean Smith (Burien); brothers-in-law, H.L. Neal, Jr. (Laura) and Aaron Neal (Sandra); a number of nieces and nephews and Lamar & Ernestine Salter of Port Wentworth, who were like family to the Brights. The family would like to thank the Marshview Staff, especially his main caregiver, Donna Luker, as well as Nicole Brown and Lawanda Mitchell.
Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with the burial to follow at 3 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenwood.
