Mrs.Mary C. Adams, 87, of Sumner, died Thursday at Red Hills Nursing Home. She was born July 6, 1889 in Richland County to Samuel and Melvina Houser Bowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Adams, and a son William.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Samuel E. Adams, Sumner; a daughter, Mrs. Lorine Geise, Rt 2, Claremont; 10 grandchildren; Seven great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Lulu Henry, Claremont and Mrs. Ester Ribley, Olney.
Services will be Sunday with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery southeast of Claremont.
