Emma P. Nelson,95, died April 17,1995 at Trinity Manor, Dodge City,KS. She was born Oct.19,1899, at Pason, germany, the daughter of Karl and Pauline Niewohner. A Dodge City resident since 1961, having lived at Norfolk, Neb. and Central City, Colo, she managed a restaurant at Central City for 25 yrs. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Dodge City. In 1951, she married Paul Beamer. He died in 1963. On Oct. 4, 1980, she married Albert C. Nelson at Dodge City, KS. He died on Sept. 17, 1999 at the age of 103. She was the mother of Lorene Coake and grandmother to David and Patricia Coake Mercado. A graveside service was held with Rev. Randall Jahnke presiding. Memorials to the church or Trinity Manor Nursing Home both of Dodge City,KS.
