Constantine Dan “Stan” Booras of 942 Gladstone died Monday in Plaquemines. Parish. He was 28.
Mr. Booras was a lifelong resident of Shreveport and was an investment broker for Thomson and McKinnon Auchincloss Kohlmeyer, Inc., of Lafayette.
He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Order of Ahepa and Kappa Alpha fraternity. Mr. Booras had attended Louisiana Tech University.
The funeral will be today at 4:15 p.m. in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home with Bishop Peter Bithos of Dallas, Tex., officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Booras of Shreveport; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Achilles Armenakis of Shreveport; and two brothers, Danny Booras of Baton Rouge and Chris Booras of Shreveport.
Pallbearers will be William Wallace, Dan Brown, Lamar Hodges, Sam Maranto, Stan Broussard, Steve Massey, Michael Pratt and Harry Booras Jr.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church building fund.
