Mrs. Clemens Taken Sunday

Lillie B. Clemens of 623 North Third Street, Centerville, Iowa, passed away Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the age of 76 years, two months and 28 days. Born in Centerville, Jan. 27, 1889. She was the daughter of Shubert F. and Catherine Myers Roby.
She was married to Martin Clemens in Centerville Sept. 30, 1906, who preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1958. Also preceding her in death were a son and daughter, and her parents.
Survivng are 11 children, Mrs. Katherine Peel and Mrs. Sylvia Abbott, both of Centerville; Mrs. Lucille Cline, Mrs. Opal Perry and Mrs. Dorothy Adler, all of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Hattie Jones, Mrs. Virginia Clark and Richard Clemens all of Centerville; an Arvel, LeRoy and Charles, all of Des Moines; 46 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Nellie McDaniel of Centerville, and a brother Frank Roby of Centerville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Fox officiating, and burial in the Oakland cemetery.
