Katherine Moorman

Katherine Moorman, 84, of Mystic died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
She was born Sept. 27, 1917, the daughter of Earl and Anna (Dutch) Krum.
She married Rudolph Moorman Feb. 20, 1935. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Annabelle Padavich and her husband, Larry, of Ottumwa; sons Gene Moorman, Fred Moorman and his wife, JoAnn, John Moorman and his wife, Joan, Bill Moorman and his wife, Mary Beth, all of Mystic, Clyde Moorman and his wife, Anna, of Centerville; a sister, Anna Van Dyne of Centerville; a brother, Jack Krum of Arizona; 35 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and other relitives.
Also preceding her in death were a sister; four brothers, a son Roy; and three grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and worked from home in many different fields, including unholstering, raising dogs and selling products she made by hand. Katherine will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Pastor Jim Altmeier officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Mystic.
Friends may call all day today, Thursday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
A memorial has been established to the Highland Cemetery Association or Mystic Fire Department and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
