DAVENPORT - Jackie R. Krum, Davenport, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital, Tucson, Ariz. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Jackie was born March 20, 1929, in Mystic, Iowa, to Earl and Anna (Medland) Krum. He married Dorothy Coatney on Aug. 31, 1946. She preceded him in death in May 1983. He was employed as a truck driver at the former Churchill Truck Lines of Davenport. He retired to Arizona. Survivors include two daughters, Celia, and husband, Frank, Fisher, Texas, and Shelia Clayton, Davenport; son, Rickey E., and wife, Pamela Krum, Davenport; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Annebelle Van Dine, Centerville, Iowa. He was preceded by two sisters and four brothers.
