Mrs. Dorothy L. Feldkamp, 96, of Luther Manor Retirement and Nursing Center in Hannibal formerly of LaGrange, Mo., died Wednesday, February 16, 2005, in the home. Mrs. Feldkamp was born November 30, 1908, near Canton, Mo., a daughter of Charles Gotlieb and Pauline W. Speckhart Ludwig. She married Carl William Feldkamp on June 28, 1931. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in LaGrange and the Ladies Aid of the Church. Survivors include six sons, Paul Feldkamp, Canton, Mo., Donald Feldkamp, Kearney, Mo., Lewis Feldkamp, Warrenton, Mo., and Wayne, Earl, and Leon Feldkamp, all of LaGrange, Mo.; one daughter, Janet Settig, Parkville, Mo.; two sisters Leora DeWitt, Lewistown, Mo., and Mildred Farr, LaGrange, Mo.; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers, Virgil in infancy and Charles, James, Ralph and Julian Ludwig; one sister Helen Eisenbeiss; a grandson, Bryan Feldkamp; and a daughter in infancy, Ruth Feldkamp. Visitation was held Friday, February 18, 2005, at Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 19, 2005, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in LaGrange with Pastor Paul Lohse officiating. Burial was in East Midway Cemetery near LaGrange. Music was provided by Wilma Maples, organist. Pallbearers were David Feldkamp, Harold Ludwig, Leroy Wolfmeyer, Charles Feldkamp, Bill Eisenbeiss, and Gary Feldkamp. Honorary pallbearers were Harlan Loos, Richard Farr, Bob Taylor, Ronald Farr, Wayne Maples, and Henry Feldkamp. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
