ZANESVILLE --- Clarabelle Sue Mumaw, 92 of Zanesville died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.
She was born Monday, July 5, 1920 in Zanesville, the daughter of William Kaiser and Lettice Kaiser. She was married on Thursday, August 12, 1937, to Woodrow W. Mumaw who preceded her in death on May 1, 2003. Mrs. Mumaw was a member of the Shelter House in Duncan Falls. She was a housewife and an avid BINGO player. She enjoyed volunteering for the Senior Center in Zanesville.
She is survived by two sons of Zanesville, two daughters of Kansas City, two daughters in law of Zanesville and Caldwell, 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one step grandchild; three sisters; several nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three son Tommy, Billy and Larry Mumaw; one grandson Larry Mumaw, Jr.; two sisters, Jean Kaiser and Marguerite Stoneking; two brothers, Joe and Bill Kaiser.
Friends may call Monday, April 8, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave., Zanesville. A Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Rowland officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park Zanesville.
