MOORESVILLE Edna Nantz Rice, 91, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Genesis Elder Care. She was born in Iredell County on July 20, 1920, daughter of the late Fred and Debbie Sherrill Nantz. Her husband, Harry Rice, died in 2003.
Survivors include daughter, Cindy Shinn and William of Mooresville; grandsons, Stephen Shinn and wife, Jo Beth, of Princeton, W.Va., and Jamie Shinn and wife, Windy, of Mooresville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at Centre Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dr. Robert Howard. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. in the Williamson Building. Neill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
