Services for Lucy Maud Barnes Green, 71, of Montrose, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Montrose Baptist Church, The Rev. Steve Hamrick and the Rev. Marty Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens. A native of Jackson in Butts County. Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late James Luther and Martha Andrews Barnes, the wife of the late Roy A. Green, and a member of Montrose Baptist Church. She died early this morning in a Macon hospital after a lengthy illness. . Survivors include two daughters, Barbara G. Riddle of San Diego, Calif, and Jayne G. Macerato of Newark, Del.; a son, Richard A. Green of Montrose; two sisters, Virginia B. Carlton of Okeechobee, Fla., and Mrs. Juanita- B. Johnson of Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers, Judson Barnes of LaBella, Fla., and Bob H. Barnes of Nogales, Ariz.Dominy and Bailey Payne. Adams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements,' The family will receive friends from 7:30-9 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.
