DELHI, La., Aug. 22. — (Special) — The body of Tech. Sgt. Willard H. Washburn, Jr., who was killed in World War II in the Philippine Islands, will arrive here Thursday morning.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Delhi Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. G. F. Stinebaugh, officiating. Interment under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral Home, will follow in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Washburn, of Delhi, he is survived by a brother, Jack Washburn, of Farmerville, La.; and four sisters, Mrs. J. E. Harper, of Jonesville, and Mrs. Edward French, Miss Janet Washburn and Miss Marianne Washburn, all of Delhi.
